Spain Bowling Tour 2024 - are you interested?

For those of you who went on our Tour to Portugal in 2019, you will know we had a great time, with many people booking to stay an extra week.

We are looking at having a Banwell Bowling Club tour to Spain in October next year. In order to gauge numbers, we need to know whether or not you are interested. There is no commitment at this stage, but we will need to book the tour in the coming few weeks.

The details are below. Please have a read, then click the button at the bottom of the page to tell us whether or not you'd like to come.

The Location

The accommodation is the 4* Estival Torrequebrada Hotel. It is lovely beach front hotel in Benalmadena, Spain, as you can see from the picture below.

All the tour rooms will have a sea view.

How much will it cost?

Prices for a 7 night tour start from only £849 per person on a half board basis - that is, breakfast and evening meal included.

Once we know the trip is viable, we will know the exact cost, and will need to confirm definite numbers. We will then need to collect £250 per person deposit to secure the tour. What else is included? The following are included in the price;

  • flights

  • luggage

  • accommodation

  • private transfers to and from the airport in Spain and to every bowls match

  • green fees

  • ATOL protection

The tour company tell us it’s the best deal for overseas tours.

On top of this they give discounted travel insurance cover, low single prices and all the money we pay is financially protected in a trust account, meaning we can book with them with peace of mind. Who can go?

Non bowlers can enjoy the trip as much as bowlers. As well as supporting at matches, there is plenty to do in and around Benalmádena, which is known for its beaches. For example, the modern Puerto Marina is home to the Sea Life Benalmádena aquarium and moored yachts.

In the traditional Andalusian old town lie the Castillo Monumento Colomares, a castle-style monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America, and the Benalmádena Stupa, a large Buddhist temple.
