President's Day The weather It was an interesting start to the afternoon, with glorious sunshine to welcome members back for the new season, followed almost immediately with a downpour of hail that turned the green white for a few minutes. It wasn't long before the hail disappeared and an afternoon of sun and minor showers with fresh winds then prevailed.
