As well as our normal matches and competitions, this season is building up to be one packed with social events, welcoming new people into the club as well as providing a full choice of pastimes for our members. This edition of the weekly news gives details of social events through to the end of the season.

Rinks Day, Sunday 10th August, 10.00
The draw has been done for the annual rinks day competition, shown below. Remember this is a full day competition, so you will need to bring your lunch. There will be a competition fee of £3, payable on the day.

Look forward to seeing you there for a great day's day's competition.

Cleaning Rota

Just a reminder that, unless you are a very new member, your name will be on the cleaning rota. Please make sure you know when your turn is.
The list is up in the clubhouse, on the notice board opposite the team sheets. There is also a list of jobs to do on your cleaning day. To see the rota on the website, click here.
Items for Sale

There are plenty of nearly new bowls clothing items for sale at the club. They are hanging in the changing rooms and are listed on posters.
All proceeds will be going to the Captain's Charity, the MND Association. If you'd like to buy them, please put the money in the collection box on the bar.
Nominations for the Committee
Sheets will soon be going up in the clubhouse to nominate people for the committee, prior to the voting at the AGM in November. Every position is up for election, so please feel free to nominate/second people (with their consent) who you think can help to run our club.
