Clubhouse plunged into darkness

Well alright, it was not that dramatic, but owing to an accident on the corner of

Church Street, the main road, including the clubhouse had their power supply

interrupted, and as the evening went on it got gloomier and gloomier.

I do not know the full story, but I understand a lorry carrying a digger cut

the corner and damaged the shop.

No doubt the full story will emerge in time.
