After a bit of a straw poll of members, it looks like those who want to go on the Waverley trip prefer the evening cruise on 5th June. We also probably have enough people interested to qualify for a 10% discount.
Details
The trip leaves from Knightstone pier, and finishes at Clevedon pier - there are some quite steep steps to climb at the end.
There is then a bus back from Clevedon to Knightstone pier.
There are hot and cold drinks and snacks available to buy on board, as well as a bar.

Discount and deposit
The cost for the trip is £40, dropping to £36 with the 10% discount.
A 25% deposit (£9 per person) needs to be paid to secure the tickets, with the £27 balance to be paid by the late May bank holiday.
Some of the trips seem to be filling up quite quickly, so I am aiming to pay our deposit by the end March at the latest. I have the names of those who wrote them on the poster in the club at the pre-season drinks - if you did not put your name down but want to go, please let me know ASAP. I will send bank details by email to transfer the deposit or alternatively, arrange to get it to me some other way.
Hopefully, the weather will be good and we will have a lovely evening sailing the Bristol Channel on the world's only remaining sea-going paddle steamer.
